Girl in Lansing is dedicated to Building and Feeding Communities through micro pantries, offering non-perishable food to the community while simultaneously providing space for families to donate to neighbors.
We are dedicated not only to providing food for families but also to creating a greater sense of community, security, and love. We strive to create community among families, community members, and local organizations- and we need you to join our mission!
Our History
Our History
In October 2020, we established our first Micro Pantry at First United Methodist Church, and soon after established more locations around Lansing. With the support of the community, we began expanding to other communities and churches. Since 2020, we have established over a dozen more micro pantries, hosted community events, and partnered with community organizations. Our Micro Pantry locations are spread across ten communities and continue to expand further.
