Girl in Lansing was featured as Morgan Park High School's entry in the Roku Film Festival with Fresh Films, during the spring of 2022! Working with a team of passionate students, the mission of Girl in Lansing helped connect families + communities.

Food Pantry Kick-off
To help stock the Girl in Lansing Food Pantry, our community and Lighthouse Community Church members rallied to organize shelves, collect food, greet our new neighbors, and prepare for the opening.
Our food pantry was open from July 2021 until December 2022
Lansing Clean-up
Lansing Clean-up
In April of 2023, Girl in Lansing joined the Village of Lansing during their annual clean-up day, alongside dozens of other community partners and families.
L.A.C.E Autumn Fest
L.A.C.E Autumn Fest
Each year L.A.C.E. hosts Autumn Fest, inviting the community to celebrate music, food, and family together. During '22 and '23 celebrations, Girl in Lansing had the privilege of helping our Lansing children paint pumpkins!
Book + Toy Giveaway
Book + Toy Giveaway
During November of 2024, Girl in Lansing distributed 4 pallets of books and toys to the community of teachers, ministry workers, and families, with First United Methodist Church of Lansing.
Food Drives
Food Drives
We are CONSTANTLY hosting food drives to help support our micro pantries. Throughout the holiday season, most of our Lansing schools collect food- we are immensely grateful for our schools!
